Coffee, Breakfast & Lunch · Alki, West Seattle
Scratch-made breakfast and lunch, and coffee roasted a few blocks from here. Open seven days a week.
Wrapped for the walk down to Alki, and it still holds up by the time you get there. That’s the actual test a to-go order has to pass here, not just whether it tastes good at the counter. Friendly service either way.
Our Story
Cormorant opened in a converted bait shack a block up from Alki Beach, where our owner grew up watching cormorants dry their wings on the pilings after a dive. What started as a coffee cart for the boatyard crews down at Seacrest became a full kitchen once the biscuits got a following of their own. We still buy our coffee from a roaster three blocks away and bake everything in-house before sunrise.

The Dutch baby pancake alone is worth the trip, and the espresso is genuinely good. Not just good for a neighborhood spot. Now our default Saturday morning.Oscar P.
Grabbed the smoked salmon BLT to go before a walk on the beach and it held up perfectly. Friendly counter service every time I've been in.Wren S.
